Name: Jessie Baylin

Occupation: Singer-Songwriter / Wife + Mother.

Currently working on: Raising our incredible baby girl, a new EP/LP/We Shall See + A weekly roasted chicken.

Santa Maria Novella, Lavender Wax Tablet  — A pair of these tablets in your delicates drawer makes putting on your first layer a bit more exciting for the senses.

Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin Cream — This cream is sensational when it comes to moisturizing the body’s never ending dry spots (elbows, nose during cold season, winter hands, etc.)

Cote Bastide, Ambre Bubble Bath — The amber scent is deep + dark and I think it smells like it’s from another time and place. I take baths mostly during the cold months, so this feels appropriate to me.

La Mer, The Body Créme — Total luxury product for me, overpriced but I don’t care – It’s the best. Always use it on date night.

Mustela 2-In-1 Hair & Body Shampoo — This is my daughter Violet’s and I’ve started using it as body wash as well. Anything that smells like her intoxicates me!

Josie Maran Argan Luscious Lips — I just began using this product and I have to say it is A +.

Frederic Malle, Angeliques Sous La Pluie — Jean Claude Ellena is the ‘nose’ behind this scent and pretty much anything he creates makes me swoon.

Skinceuticals Sheer Physical UV Defense SPF 50 — Every day this is on my face, rain or shine. It is just fantastic.

Pure Fiji Coconut Sugar Rub — I’ve tried a few home scrubs but this is the only one that makes me feel like I’m actually removing a layer of dead skin, and it smells exotic so there’s nothing to not love here.

Oribe Thick Dry Finishing Spray — Final piece of the puzzle in my hair routine. I use most of the Oribe line because their products actually DO what they SAY.

MAC Cosmetics eyeshadow in Smut — I’m a decade deep with this shadow, I use it as a liner mostly and I think its pretty perfect because it’s not quite black and has just a slight jewel tone shimmer.

What product/s can’t you live without? My Babyliss Blow Dryer w/ a Ferrari engine, it’s a beautiful machine and having curly hair, this is a necessity for me.

Favorite place to shop for your goods?  Before I became a mom I never shopped online, now I have a meaningful relationship with our UPS guy. I do a lot of purchasing on + also at local beauty supply shops in Nashville like Private Edition and Woo.

Biggest beauty secret? Enzyme peel facials 2x a year. Burn those brown spots off.
